Gilbert Architects is saddened by the recent loss of our colleague, Lenny Douk. Lenny most recently worked as a construction contract administrator, where he excelled due to his meticulous record keeping at the office and attention to detail during construction site visits. Earlier in his career with Gilbert, he held roles as a project manager and specifications writer. Lenny’s contribution to education and construction is memorialized in many projects throughout Pennsylvania, Maryland and Delaware.
Our team misses our friend and will honor him every day by emulating his professionalism and work ethic. A Celebration of Life is being planned by his family for later this summer.

I am so saddened to have recently learned of Lenny’s passing. Lenny and I were close friends at Roger Williams and for a time after graduating but we unfortunately lost touch with each other over the years.
Lenny was a great guy and a genuine friend with a wonderful sole. He will be greatly missed.
My deepest condolences go out to his sister and family.
Please let me know the details of his forthcoming celebration.
