Gilbert Architect is an award-winning K-12 education facility architectural firm with an opening for full-time BIM modeler in our Lancaster, PA office. The ideal candidate will be someone eager to work with a wide variety of individuals, meet deadlines, produce quality work, and grow their career.

This position offers flexible work arrangements, including potential hybrid options based on experience and role requirements.

Preferred skills include a solid understanding of how Revit is used to produce documents and information in addition to working drawings as it relates to educational design and construction. Additionally, a basic knowledge of modeling practices by other disciplines, especially structural and mechanical is beneficial.

Qualifications

  • Associate degree in Architectural Technology or an equal certification is preferred.
  • Zero to five years’ experience developing architectural BIM (Revit) models for construction working drawings on educational projects.
  • Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering as-built drawings and recreate the plans in Revit with minimal errors.
  • Ability to review working models and PDF outputs for compliance with company modeling and documentation standards.
  • Have a desire to learn, accept direction, be mentored, and build relationships.
  • Be a self-starter with excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks to meet project deadlines.
