Scott is dedicated to programming, planning and designing of K–12 schools as a principal at Gilbert Architects. He embraces an approach that considers the school’s academic needs and goals as well as how space influences learning and affects the social and emotional growth of students. He works closely with clients to establish program, project schedule, and budget, and maintains oversight of the entire project team to provide quality assurance and client satisfaction. Scott is the firm’s expert in recognizing the benefits, accessing the need, and engaging the client in permanent off-site construction solutions. He has a bachelor’s degree in architecture from Virginia Tech University.
Family provides the foundation that keeps me grounded when not working. A wife, daughter and son keep me busy and laughing with their activities and personalities. To relax, I enjoy reading, music and movies as well as projects around the house.
