Cherokee Lane Elementary School, constructed off-site to facilitate a compressed construction schedule, has been transported to its permanent location in Prince George’s County, Maryland. Over the next three to four weeks, the units will be reconnected into one complete building. Exterior masonry and siding will be added onsite for a permanent finish.
While the site was being prepared, 67% of the building was constructed off-site, complete with casework, flooring, paint, mechanical systems and fixtures.
